Make a difference in the lives of the 20.8 million Americans affected by diabetes and join the thousands of cyclists for the ADA's Tour de Cure - the nation's largest cycling event to fight diabetes.
On Saturday, June 9th we will begin at Regency Park in Cary, discovering the scenic roads of North Carolina and stopping to overnight near beautiful Kerr Lake. We'll celebrate in Henderson on Saturday evening with dinner at the Vance-Granville Community College where we'll have music, dancing, massages, mechanical services, entertainment and shuttles to and from the hotels/camping.
On Sunday, June 10th after a light breakfast, the roads will lead you back to Cary, where we will celebrate success at Koka Booth with Live Music, Cool Giveaways, Great Food and Beer! Family and friends are all welcome!
Cyclists receive complete support during their journey, including food and beverage, well-stocked rest stops approximately every 8-10 miles, support-and-gear vehicles, bike mechanics, extensive police support, medical support, and entertainment. Dedicated volunteers provide encouragement and assistance every mile of the way! As we like to say, "You pedal; we'll take care of the rest."
