2006 Chairmen

We are thrilled to announce our 2006 Tour de Cure Chairperson, Rick Weddle,
President of the Research Triangle Foundation right here in the Park! Rick is extremely committed to making this year's Tour the best ever, in fact Tour de Cure will be his first long distance ride. For the first time this year we have a rider recruitment Chairperson, Tony Cervati, who is an avid cyclist himself! Drawing from his lifelong experience as a diabetic athlete, he decided to create a venue through which other diabetics could learn from each other by sharing experiences and challenges in balancing their activity levels with their disease. The idea was born and the platform www.Type1Rider.com was created.
